Tell us a bit about your company
The Honest Bean Co’s story began when our founder Adam had a chance encounter with a bag of imported chickpeas and decided that he wanted to bring British grown beans to the forefront of the UK snack market. The more he learned about British fava beans, the more he loved them.
In 2021, after a lot of hard work, product development and taste testing, The Honest Bean Co launched their range of Roasted Fava Bean Snacks.
Here’s just a few of the things that make The Honest Bean Co snacks so great:
• A Fantastic Source of Plant Protein – a standard 40g snack bag contains 10g of protein.
• High Fibre: The snacks are also a good source of fibre, which helps to keep you feeling full.
• British Grown: All the fava beans are grown in the UK, contributing to lower food miles.
• Vegan Friendly: Honest Bean snacks are suitable for a vegan diet

The Honest Bean Co currently have six delicious flavours of Roasted Fava bean snacks available in 120g share bags and 40g snack bags (ideal for snacking on the go). We’re currently working on some exciting new products.
Here’s a little bit about each of our six fantastic flavours.
Black Garlic & Herb: All the best flavours from a roast chicken dinner but not a chook in sight. The deep, rich and slightly sweet flavour of the black garlic makes this flavour extra special. Proceed with snacking caution — one handful may lead to the whole bag gone.
Chilli and Lemon: A big chilli wallop perfectly balanced with lemony citrus flavour. We don’t do things by halves so if you LOVE your snacks spicy this is the one for you.
Lightly salted: This one lets the beans do the talking. While we love big flavours our lightly salted flavour is the perfect enhancement to show off the fabulous crunchy texture and mellow earthy flavour of our British roasted fava beans.
Sea Salt and Cider Vinegar: Like salt and vinegar but turned up to the max. An intense and powerful flavour that will take your tastebuds on a trip to the seaside.
BBQ: That oh so familiar sweet, smokey but tangy BBQ flavour. This one is a crowd pleaser that the whole family will love.
Seaweed and Miso: The flavour that you didn’t know you needed, but once you try it, you won’t be able to get enough of it.Prepare yourself for an asian-inspired, big, bold umami hit.
