Our Sustainability Commitment

At Diversified we understand that our actions and decisions have a significant impact on the world around us. That’s why we’re committed to working sustainably with our visitors, exhibitors and stakeholders to consider the long-term impact of our business on the environment and society. By reducing waste, conserving resources, investing in renewable energy and supporting local communities, we strive to operate with environmental and social responsibility. Our goal is to create a better future for ourselves, our customers, and generations to come.

We understand there is no one-size-fits-all solution to the environmental challenges we all face. But we do know that we all need to make a change and that every little change makes a difference. Minimising our environmental impact

We aim to reuse or recycle signage at our events.
We recycle all uncontaminated carpet at our events. By 2024, we aim to use a carpet product that can be reused, as well as recycled.
We aim to use less paper and sustainably sourced paper.
Where possible we collect and reuse lanyards.
Water filling stations are available at our events and we encourage all attendees to bring reusable drinking bottles.
We encourage our Exhibitors to exhibit sustainably. More info for Exhibitors here.
Where possible, surplus food products are distributed to local food banks.
We work with suppliers to offset carbon emissions.

Reducing our carbon footprint

Our events are powered by 100% renewable energy.
We encourage venues to sort and recycle leftover waste.
We encourage venues to provide sustainable food choices.

Investing in green energy and projects

Diversified organises several events aimed at making companies more sustainable and has invested significantly in a number of environmentally friendly projects. These include:

Acquisition of Smart Energy Decisions.

Supporting our local communities

We hold regular charity fund raising events in the office.
All staff can work a day per year volunteering at a local charity.
Our head office in Portland contributes to local charities nominated by staff in each division.
