Meet Miss Kim

Tell us a bit about your company
Miss Kim is an award-winning Korean food brand bringing Kickass Korean food to the UK. Founded by Korean-born, London-based former art curator Heejin No, we make authentic Korean favourites easy, exciting and effortless for modern consumers.
Inspired by everything from royal court and Buddhist temple cuisine to the warmth of family kitchens, our products combine genuine Korean heritage, real ingredients and distinctive contemporary design.
The story begins with Heejin’s grandmother: the original Miss Kim. In the difficult years following the Korean War, she became a source of strength within her community, helping families through her church, supporting people in finding work and bringing everyone together around shared meals. Heejin grew up understanding that, in Korea, food is much more than something we eat: it is how we care, connect, comfort and show love. She first created Miss Kim to share that experience with her non-Korean family and friends.
We launched in January 2026 with traditional Korean snacks made in South Korea and soon expanded into pantry essentials. Within months, Miss Kim won the 2026 Good Food SME Award for Best Creative/Branding. As well as this, every product in our range was recognised at the 2026 Free From Food Awards, and our snacks are finalists in the Great British food awards.
Inspired by everything from royal court and Buddhist temple cuisine to the warmth of family kitchens, our products combine genuine Korean heritage, real ingredients and distinctive contemporary design. Our ambition is to become the UK’s trusted everyday brand for delicious, honest and accessible Korean food.

Visitors will be among the first to discover Sea Tangle, our newest snack. It continues our mission to introduce distinctive Korean flavours and food traditions in an accessible, contemporary format for UK consumers.
Miss Kim brings authentic Korean food heritage into modern everyday life.
We will also showcase our recently launched Vegan Kimchi and Stir-Fried Kimchi, both made in South Korea and packed in convenient tins. Our Vegan Kimchi is traditionally fermented for four weeks to develop a fresh crunch, vibrant heat and authentic depth of flavour, while our Stir-Fried Kimchi offers a richer, more savoury experience. Both are naturally vegan and gluten-free, and can be enjoyed with rice, noodles and stews, in toasties, or simply as banchan (side dishes).
Alongside these new launches, visitors can discover the traditional snacks that introduced Miss Kim to the UK. Lotus Root Bugak, delicate lotus-root slices coated with sticky-rice paste and fried until crisp; Sea Salt Nurungji, nutty toasted-rice bites inspired by the golden layer that forms at the bottom of a Korean rice pot; and Mini Sea Salt Nurungji, designed for convenient on-the-go snacking.
Together, the range shows how Miss Kim brings authentic Korean food heritage into modern everyday life – from exciting new snack innovation such as Sea Tangle to convenient pantry staples and traditional favourites. Every product in our range was recognised at the 2026 Free From Food Awards, giving visitors an award-winning introduction to Kickass Korean food.
Why is exhibiting at lunch! an unmissable opportunity for you?
Exhibiting at lunch! is particularly meaningful for Miss Kim because it is where our journey began. We soft-launched at the show in 2025, ahead of our full market launch in January 2026, and it gave us our first real insight into how the industry works.
We felt a real ripple effect in the months that followed (exhibiting at lunch!), with connections, recognition and opportunities continuing to emerge as a result of having been there.
Being surrounded by buyers, operators and other food businesses was invaluable. It gave us the opportunity to introduce the brand, start important conversations and learn directly from the people shaping the UK food-to-go market. Although the impact was not immediate, we felt a real ripple effect in the months that followed, with connections, recognition and opportunities continuing to emerge as a result of having been there.
We are therefore incredibly excited to return, this time as a fully launched, award-winning brand with greater experience, growing momentum and an expanding product range. Alongside our original Korean snacks and recently launched kimchi, we will be presenting Sea Tangle, our potential next launch.
Coming back to lunch! feels like an important milestone: a chance to reconnect with the industry, show how far Miss Kim has come and build the relationships that will support the next stage of our growth.
