Sophie Gilchriest

Sophie Gilchriest is CFO of Pizza Pilgrims, a Neapolitan pizza group of around 30 pizzerias. Sophie came in when there was one pizzeria and has grown the finance function alongside the business ever since. Before hospitality, Sophie spent five years in private equity, and before that worked in hedge funds and investment banking, a background that’s brought an investor’s discipline to how the group grows, from site appraisal through to funding and the wider deal work.
