Innovation Challenge

lunch! 2017 saw the return of the prestigious Innovation Challenge Awards, showcasing the most innovative products in the food-to-go sector.

69 of the most innovative new products from across the show floor were displayed in the Innovation Challenge Gallery at lunch! 2017. The top 15 products that had the most buyer votes at the end of day one were invited to pitch their products on day 2 to a panel of industry judges including Paul Ettinger (Caffè Nero); Guy Meakin (Pret A Manger); Martin Hambleton (En Route International); Louise Direito (Krispy Crème); Angelina Harrisson (Tossed); Sandy Anderson (Elior); Neville Moon (The NPD Kitchen); Alan Tomlins (Small Batch Coffee Roasters); freelance innovation and development specialist Hannah Hughes; independent NPD consultant Jane Treasure; and chef and restaurant consultant Jay Morjaria.
